Dress your fake - Tamanna Roashan AKA @dressyourface is a fraud.

Dress your fake - Tamanna Roashan AKA @dressyourface is a fraud.

This is a long post so bear with me.

I have decided to write about my experience on 24/07/2015 which is the date a live class with Tamanna was supposed to happen.I am aware that I do not have a large following on this blog, nor do I use for such purposes but I feel compelled to expose her since she is using all the tricks in the book to have posts removed from Instagram. Before I begin I want to clarify:

I am NOT being paid to do this
I am NOT jealous of her
I gain NOTHING from this
I am not HATING by sharing my experience

I, like many people have been following DYF on Instagram for a while now and often admired her work. recently have seen how successful she has become and the demand for her live classes as well. When I saw her class for London I was immediately attracted, Why? Because of the locality to me, because of her work and mostly because of the sheer volume of sponsors she was claiming would contribute towards the goody bags which are according to her 'THE BEST IN THE WORLD'.

I booked my tickets after the first on cancelled as I had more cash to spare this time round and when I heard about all the 'trouble' she was put through I was sympathetic, but also cringed a little as her planning skills. I was slightly confused as to how someone with so much success and so-called knowledge could get a simple visa issue wrong.

I booked it anyway because I gave her the benefit of the doubt. As the date was approaching I began to notice how she wasn't posting any more. Usually she posts everything on Instagram/Snapchat about her trip, the class, but this time, there was nothing (red flag 1), Apart from sending us constant repeat emails of what to expect in the class, she even updated an email 2 days before which said her raffles would not be costing anymore as she wanted to give everyone a fair chance, so now everyone was to receive 2 free raffles automatically for a fair chance to win and no one would be allowed to buy them as decided previously (red flag 2). I just assumed she was so traumatised by last time she felt it was better to not shout about the class till she was actually in London. Little did I know.

On the day itself, as I woke up, I felt a little weird, it was as though my instincts were telling me something seemed weird about the day ahead. Not just me my friend (who I was travelling with) said the same thing. Regardless, we set off at 6am to make sure we could be early and queue first for a good seat. We arrived at 9am, having stopped over for breakfast and began queuing. We were told not to do this but people did it anyway. The official queueing time was 11am and immediately it was clear that not one person had any idea where to queue or what as going on. There was no one to speak to, no manager, nothing. There were however, several photographers taking plenty of images.

Then came the next red flag (number 3). About 3 hours later, it was announced by one of her volunteers (@shuelytpp) that there was a delay! It really sounded bad by this point. Queues were being broken up, lack of organization continued, people pushed into queues. After ages, finally we started to register with our tickets and girls were literally running around like sheep, no one was forming orderly queues, everyone seemed to be confused as to what exactly was going on.

After I got my hand stamped, I queued up, managed to get in a grabbed my seat. The tables were lined with goody bags, obviously I went straight to see what was inside. What I saw at this point astonished me. I sensed the same thing in the entire room . The goody bags were virtually empty (red flag 4) and were a far cry from what she had advertised on Instagram. Then a woman named Khadijah Kadwani finally got on stage and was trying to be all enthusiastic. She said something like "can I get your girls to say it louder, DYF 2015?" and literally no one spoke. To which she was like "yes I know we've had a bad start but it's all going to get better" (WTF).

Then some other irrelevant people came on stage who I've never heard of but apparently they're 'Instagram famous' - @lookamillion and @lindasteph who didn't really say anything but started taking pictures with people (pathetic). Then it was announced to us to quieten down and look at the screens (red flag 5).

As we did guess who it was? lol TAMANNA whose body language said it all really. She was looking at her lap, had her saddest victim face on and was trying pathetically hard to look like she had been through a rough night. Mind you, she had a face full of slap, her nails done, her hair styled, etc.

Then dropped the big bombshell, she started speaking. She spoke and spoke and spoke and SPOKE but all I could hear was her bullshitting. She was talking about what she was currently going through and how she hadn't slept, or eaten blah blah blah. Then just as I was about to pass out of boredom, she finally said "I WILL NOT BE COMING". She said she had known since Wednesday she wasn't going to come!!!!! And it was after this that everything I heard was blatantly a lie. She continued to play victim and my attention span dropped. She decided to give us a 'choice' because she is such a saint: to leave and get a full refund, or to stay and watch her do her crap on screen. I obviously chose to walk out and wasn't about to get further insulted. I left my 'goody bag' there and about 15 other girls also left at the same time.

Since then, Tamanna and her team have monitored every single message. They have blocked and deleted every person who has dared to speak up about ANYTHING that doesn't agree with her. She hasn't admitted she is in the wrong for LYING. according to her she hasn't even lied. You be the judge. Her supporters are in full force and for Instagram likes, they have been posting in support of her to which she obviously comments and makes their day. They have gone off and updated their bio to 'DYF certified' which is a slap in the face for those who pay her thousands to get this certification via one-to-one classes because they sat and watched her on a screen. If this is the case then I am certified by every artist on YOUTUBE, TV, etc. because I watched them do it.

Her certification means nothing outside of Instagram, you can't claim discount, not everyone knows who the hell she is. She has a habit of hyping her own work. This is how she managed to convince people to attend her London class because of the way she marketed her goody bags. The truth is that she is a liar, her classes were NEVER sold out, the place where the class was supposed to be held was only half full.

All her goody bags were sponsored, she got volunteers to help out, every single person was unpaid. So who profited, me or her? To top it off all the people I have mentioned in this post also KNEW she was never coming, which makes it just as bad because it shows what people do for a few likes and fame, is to side with those in the wrong. Everyone who agrees with her believes she didn't lie. I say she did. By wasting our time and pretending she was in London when she posted images captioning that she was nervous to meet us IS IN FACT LYING!

I finish off saying this: Tamanna is a liar and she has made money off everyone and continues to do so. There are some pretty shallow women and deluded ones who continue to support her despite her obvious lies and there isn't much we can do to change this. But what we can do is continue to speak out and spread the word. Share your story - no matter how big or small and get the word out. Stop her making more profit and lying to innocent people. The class had women flying in from as far as India, can you imagine how they must have felt? It's fraud and she is a fake. EXPOSE TAMANNA ROASHAN.
